Rain protection dedicated to the ALBERT windscreen, made of a large open cells foam of 3 cm thickness.
For this protection to be effective, it is essential to waterproof, beforehand, the 2 fabrics constituting the first layer of the ALBERT windscreen but NOT the foam itself (see explanatory sheet) so that water does not pass through the fabrics. The protection is accompanied by a 150ml Nikwak anti-water repellent spray.
Its adjusted shape preserves the maneuverability of the windscreen but it is impossible to add a fur below the rain protection (the consequence would be a significant alteration of the response curve because the fur would soak up water)
Depending on the strength of the wind and the intensity of the rain, you will have to find the best compromise between adding fur or rain protection.
