PIANISSIMO windshield adapted to the Sennheiser MKH 8030/8040 (or 8050) MS pair.
The suspension has been completely redesigned and optimized to take account of the 8030’s great sensitivity in the (very) low end.
The 8030 is connected with the MZL (MZX module has to be unscrewed). The use of MZF II filters (70Hz, +18dB/oct) is STRONGLY recommended for the 8030.
It may even be necessary to add a softer, higher-frequenccutoff, depending on the desired protection against handling noise.
The 8060 is connected with its regular XLR (MZX module has to be screwed). No option to use the MZF filter. Anyway, the 8060 is already protected against the lowest rumbles (internal filtering).
